As soon as Ryder saw the Dam there was talk of yabbying & although I wasn't sure we would be particularly successful, I was happy to be proven wrong.
In case you were wondering, this little guy was deemed too small & lived to see another day, but they haven't all been that lucky.
The boy is in heaven, meandering back to the house with a tub full of Yabbies. After a period of observation most end up back in the Dam, but some have become a pre-dinner snack. I love him eating something that he has caught all by himself in his own backyard, it doesn't get much better than that.
