I kept the Teachers' Christmas gifts pretty simple & handmade this year. Personalised mugs all round, filled with chocolates & lollies.

Tree Mug

The kids did a wonderful job decorating them, then I baked them in a moderate oven for 30 minutes. The colours did fade a little & they aren't dishwasher safe, but they do look sweet. I followed these directions.

Wrapped in cellophane with a handmade tag, they were ready to go & all made it to their recipients in one piece.

The gifting has begun...

christie, those labels made by the kids are AMAZING! you could totally copy them and sell in bunches - so so fabulous! I like to do all handmade as well, I think the teachers really feel the care that has gone into them. fabulous idea for the mugs, will put that on the list for next year for ruby's prep teacher.. eek! x

Just what I want!! Where did you buy your special sharpies from - can I just get them from Spottie or OW?

Our favourite mug here is one AB received like this for Father's Day a few years back. I would die if someone dropped or broke it - it is so precious Xx
