The Rainbow Connection would have to be one of my very favourite songs. It has been for almost as long as I can remember. I think perhaps it appeals to the dreamer in me, it certainly transports me back to my childhood & a simpler time.
Not by coincidence, this is the song I sing to Willow every night at bedtime. Once it's lights out, I sing it start to finish & kiss her goodnight. I guess one day, this song will remind her of a simpler time too.
When I decided to make a cushion for Willow, my little dreamer, a little quote from kermit seamed apt.
Cushion.
Felt.
Tutorial.
Go & listen to Kermit play his banjo in the swamp & try not to get nostalgic.
