Today we made pasta from scratch, although I am using the term we very loosely!
The kids adored the process, taking it in turns to turn the handle & feed the pasta through.
Catching the Spaghetti as it came out was a particular highlight.
After hanging it on a broomstick we cooked it up for lunch & it was delicious.
In case anyone want to give pasta making a try, we used Jamie Oliver's recipe, bon appétit!

Looks delicious! My kids love 'helping' to make pasta too.
Home made pasta is delish! I don't do it often but have been thinking of getting back into it and after seeing this.....yummo!!

Whenever a blogger I follow doesn't post for a while I think to myself "I hope they are ok". I have never asked it, I rarely comment on blogs I read. It might seem kind of rude. Or nosey-parker-y.
Mostly I think people get busy with life and don't blog for a while. Quite a few bloggers I read have taken breaks. I am sure there is a good reason and nothing is amiss.
But here it is anyway: I hope you are ok.

Just popped over from Rhonda's blog - can't wait to look around. I'm making pasta today too with Jamie Oliver's recipe - its hard to go back to the shop stuff once you've done this :)
I'm making this to complete my Asian noodle with squid and a tad of spice. I hope it'll turn out fine. It's going to be for a date. Love the meatball spaghetti!
