My creative time has been a bit limited of late, life has simply been getting in the way. I have been trying to eek out little bits of time, waiting for school pick-ups or during the kids after school activities. Those moments of unproductive time are perfect for stitching, so that's what I'm back doing right now.

Today I have been stitching & cutting out lots of beautiful little Liberty diamonds.

I don't dare count how many hexagons I have completed or how many (hundred) more I will need to complete a full sized quilt, I think if I do I will simply give up. However, I am adamant that I will finish this quilt this year, although I have a long way to go.

These are coming along nicely.
If it is any consolation...you do know that you will finish this quilt WAY before I have finished mine ;)
Beautiful. I love your teeny tiny stitches.
Divine! With an entire year full of afterschool activities ahead of you, I think you've got a great chance of finishing it.
They look lovely already ! Sometimes it is so hard squeezing stitching time in .
Beautiful! Hand stitching is great for the those grabbed moments. I'm off to liberty tomorrow, and I just can't wait to get my hands on a few more tana lawn prints.
oh my lord, your patience makes my neck itch!
So beautiful. So very neat too. I'm always in awe of your patience & attention to detail. Keep stitching dear lady.
I love these stars! The quilt is going to be amazing.
Absolutely beautiful ... but where on earth do you get the patience for something like that?! And the thought of a whole quilt makes me positively shiver with fear. I'm going to try a little bit of quilting later this year ... but I'm thinking maybe a mug rug or a sewing machine rug would be about my limit!
wow wow they are exquisite!
Looking forward to seeing it grow : o )
Hello I am nearly finished with my quilt (as seen in my pic)
Isnt it addictive. Mine are hand sewn with paper, I prefer this technique, so much easier than guessing!
My first quilt of this design had white outers like yours, which is lovely by the way!!
I hereby declare you Queen of the Fairy Stitchers. Just glorious. And you know you'll have it finished and slumbered under way before I've woven in all those crocheted ends...
