Advent: Day 1

Advent

Yesterday our freshly cut tree arrived & today I managed to find last years handmade Advent calendar & the box of Christmas decorations.

Decorations

We are lucky enough to have two Advent calendars this year, the newest addition was made by Ryder.

Ryder's Advent

I love his calendar & I can't wait to see a new picture everyday.

I think we will save the tree decorating until Sunday when we can do it as a family, so it doesn't look like Christmas just yet...

Ribbon

but it's a start.

Still one of the classiest advent calendars I have ever seen. Mind you Ryder's version comes very close!

What a lovely calendar. Where did those fabric numbers come from? I would love to get some.

Love your advent calendars! I failed (again) to make one this year, but fortunately one set of grandparents came through, so the toddler has something to open.

I love Ryder's advent calendar. What a fabulous idea! Did you buy the blank template or did you make it?!?!

Too pretty! What is the fabric with the numbers on your calendar? I know it but can't quite remember what it is.

Ryder's advent calendar is so precious! What a special treasure. We have a naked tree at the moment, too - I'm more excited than I should admit to about decorating it.

The number fabric was from Patchwork on Central Park in Malvern, but I don't know what's it's called -
sorry!
