Waffle Placemats...

Waffle Placemats

Some functional sewing for a change, a set of placemats.

Waffle Placemats

Very simple, beautifully soft cotton waffle bound in linen.

Waffle Placemats

This is the best they are ever going to look, pretty soon they will be covered in pasta sauce & breakfast cereal, but that is the job they are made for.

Waffle Placemats

Until then they look very pretty with my new new linen napkins.

Very classy - not surprising given the makers!

Just gorgeous. They're perfect. Now I'm going to have to make myself some class A placemats too.

I really like these placemats you've made - can you tell me where you sourced the waffle fabric from though. I'm based in NZ but cannot seem to see any available on line.
Cheers, mantilla
