If nothing else this quilt has helped me conquer my aversion to pink.

The back is a Liberty print & as the quilt is 125cm's square I didn't have to join/piece the back which saved me time & fabric. I did however embroider a label for it.

I quilted it in graduating squares & it took me two goes & lots of unpicking to get the quilting finished. I'm still not completely happy with my quilting, but I guess it is all practice.

A spotty binding & it is really for snuggling.

Beyond adorable ... every little patch is lovely, the backing is my favorite ever Liberty!
Awwwww- love it when the little ones say such sweet things! It looks great- I love the embroidered tag. My mum used to do embroidered tags too but decided it was too difficult and now does them with some kind of unwashable marker pen. It's just not the same..
Oh my goodness the quilt is beautiful!
Just beautiful... I love the label too.

Beautiful~ I love the colours and the embroidered label. Could you tell me what kind of stitch you used? Thank you~
I think putting that label on it really moves it in the 'family heirloom' category. It is lovely. Thank you for sharing.
