Love & Marriage...

My sister is getting married & I am excitedly plotting a special wedding gift for her & my soon to be brother-in-law. I can't give anything away yet but I am trawling the internet for good quotes on the subject of love and/or marriage.

Any suggestions?

One of my favourites is and something I am constantly telling Jason is...

"Happy Wife, Happy Life"

Am sure you can find something A LOT more romantic than that though ;)

Oooh, lovely! How exciting. I do love this quote - "If I know what love is, it is because of you." - Hermann Hesse

How about this page:

This one is lovely Blessing For A Marriage by James Dillet Freeman (http://www.i-do.com.au/weddings/wedding-article.aspx?Article=1703&wedding-planning-tip=Well-Known-Readings-For-Weddings). I hope you find something that is perfect.

but you decide who you let walk out,
who you let stay and
who you refuse to let go"

"the secret to life is knowing how to make the bad times good and the good times unforgettable"

"the way to love someone is to lightly run your finger over that persons soul until you find a crack, and then gently pour your love into that crack"

♥ hope that you find something perfect.

The priest who married my parents told them,

"The secret to a successful marriage is 90% giving................from both sides!!!"

Hope you find something suitable, My parents have been married for 42 years and are still going strong, so it worked for them!!!

I found this passage in a book i read last week - loved it...

'I step forward and I hug her. There is emotion in the hug, and there is respect and a form of love. Emotion that comes from honesty, respect that comes from challenge, and the form of love that exists between people whose minds have touched, whose hearts have touched, whose souls have touched. Our minds touched. Our hearts touched. Our souls touched. We separate.'

- James Frey. A million little pieces.

I hope whatever it is you're making is lovely.
