Somewhere along the way I lost my creative mojo. This year has been speeding by & I haven't found much time, or enthusiasm for craft. I guess that's life sometimes. With the distinct change of seasons this week I made a conscious choice to start a small knitting project, something easy to snuggle on the couch with. I remembered Jo's dishcloth & though that would be just the project.
This is the first of three washcloths & you can find the details & patterns over here.
It was a super quick knit & the cotton/bamboo blend was lovely to work with, all that's left now is to do is test it out. Oh & if you think my sink looks shiny it is because of this site, which I found via Kristine's blog.

With that dishcloth, I bet washing the dishes is now a joy.
Good to see you back Chris x
Fly Lady rules in our house. I have a wardrobe of dishcloths now so it always looks pretty! Nothing like a fling to make the creative block go. Lisa.
Ooh - love the dishcloth!
I used to do Flylady and used to have the shiniest sink in Canberra. I moved house and got a cleaning lady (who doesn't shine my sink - pah!) but I am doing a fling this weekend and I'll poilishing that sink for sure.
Because I can't knit at all _I am amazed you could do somethig so wonderful and then use it to wash with !!
love your dishcloth! and your shiny sink {I truly don't think that my old sink will ever come up THAT shiny...}
here's to getting our mojo's back {my most recent post is about getting my missing, well make that found mojo back ~ great minds and all that!}
OOh I have been meaning to "whip" up one of these for ages, thanks for reminding me. And since it looks so good on your shiny sink, I think I'll just have to try it. it'll magically make all the dishes disappear too, won't it?!
Love the knitted dishclothes. I have a friend who knits them and keeps me in supplies ;-)
Yay, another flylady reader. It wasn't until I posted about the site that I realised how many other people were on to it. It has helped me quite a lot. You should submit your shiny sink pic to flylady - if only for the craft appeal factor.
