Hot & Not....

The Hot...

All things knitting. I know, I know, stop with the knitting already, but I really can't help it. Look how beautiful these bamboo needles look, what's not to love?

Bamboo

Ryder wearing his new tie. So handsome.

Ryder

The Beechworth Sweet Co. We visited Beechworth on the weekend & the sweet shop is fantastic & well worth a look. I dare you to leave empty-handed.

Rockin'

The Not...

The weather. Spring, where art thou? I know we need the rain, but 1/2 way through October, a bit of sunshine would be nice.

The washing basket that threatens to take over the house รก la the blob & that is just the clean pile!

Laundry

The amazing overseas trip the Roger is heading on soon. Not only am I extremely jealous, but as an added bonus I get some quality single-parenting time. Did I mention I don't cook -eek!

Thanks to Claire for the Hot/Not inspiration.

Waaay too hard to keep a pace with this knitting thing. What are you up to now? Socks?

PS. Think yourself lucky there's a clean blob in your house. Middle kid had to wear bathers instead of undies again today.

Those needles look gorgeous indeed. What are you going to knit this time?

And what's that about not cooking? It's really easy and relaxing, I promise. If you want, I could throw you some easy-peasy recipes..

Ryder's tie - gorgeous! As is Ryder. And the bamboo DPNs are SO lovely. I have them. They are smooth and wonderful to knit with. Enjoy!

Oooh, knitting needles and sweet boys in ties! What more could I have asked for this evening? The are both gorgeous!

I feel I must tell you too that I am, for only a short while I know, totally up to date with the washing. An empty basket. Phew. What a brief sense of achievement. :)

Bamboo needles are very inspiring. Once I went bamboo I could never go back, so nice on your skin! And that ties is gorgeous! I'm single-parenting too at the moment and have baskets of washing on the line in the rain. Only good thing about all this wind, in between showers stuff actually dries. ;-)
