Blocked...

So after finishing the jumper, then frogging it & starting all over again, I am finally finished!

Jumper

I am amazed what a difference blocking the jumper made, although it is still very fitted it is now much softer & has lots more give in it. I shall be interested to see how it washes up as the wool is supposed to be machine washable.

Jumper

I feel pretty proud that I have actually finished a knitted garment. I'm keeping my eye out for my next project, but as the weather warms up I'm not sure if I want to be doing more knitting, we shall see...

Big thanks must go to Tania for her ongoing cheerleading.

My jaw is on the floor. You are one speedy (and tenacious) knitter. And by crikey that kid of yours is CUTE.

gorgeous! I found the pattern on ravelry and then realised you'd made it! I must admit my 2nd version turned out better than the first one and last night I finished a cream version off with a pink yo yo!

Wow - such a beautiful job. You're a very neat knitter. Not surprising! I'm not sure what blocking is, but whatever you did Willow looks gorgeous in it. And she seems so happy to be wearing it :)

WELL DONE! It looks so beautiful and so amazingly neat for your first project (ahh, I still am in complete awe that you frogged the first attempt - serious commitment there Christie!). It matches little Willow's eyes perfectly and she looks so thrilled with her new top!! Love it!!

Thats such a gorgeous knit! I have never yet finished a knitted garment (excluding beanies and scarves) and my son has an extensive wardrobe of half-knits. I'm taking you as my inspiration and I'm going to finish one while its cool enough!

Too cute Christie!
I'm still afraid of knitting proper garments. You've inspired me to try.
Thank you for your warm wishes.

Your little girl is just absolutely adorable. I love the knitted top too, so cute on her. Yes you are doing so well for only starting to knit garments, and yes people addicted to knitting do knit in the summer time.
