Wooly Weather...

Just when I started to gear up for Spring, the weather gods decide to bring on the rain & wintery weather, so I guess it is rather apt that I headed to Wool Baa today in search of wool to knit up a little cap sleeved jumper for Lolo. I couldn't resist this pattern after seeing Tania's version. I am planning to have a go at knitting this myself* (!), but please don't hold your breath for it's completion as I never completed my last knitting endeavor & that was only a scarf!

Wool + Rain

So if the kids keep playing happily, I plan to get the fire started & make a start this afternoon**, but first with the help of my good friend Mr Google I need to learn a whole new language, knitting!

* If it all goes pear-shaped, Mum has promised to take over & knit it up for me!

**Mum, please stay by the phone...

The jumper looks like the perfect first project! I did a similar one and didn't find it too hard and at least you have some help if you get stuck!

The weather man has predicted warm weather for Friday...keep your fingers crossed!!

Cute jumper! I'm sure you'll do okay. I am working on my first jumper too, by the way. Have been for weeks now. I only find time to knit one row every now and then (and I had to start over multiple times, since I didn't know how to correct mistakes yet), so it's going very slow and I can only hope that my littlest one will still fit in it coming winter, but then again: It's good practice ;-) Can't wait to see your results!

Enjoy :-) The yarn looks lovely and soft to work with - I find that I'm much more likely to persist with a project when I like the feel of the yarn!
