Lunch Bags...

Ryder had a school excursion today & had to take his lunch in a disposable bag rather than his lunchbox. I'm not used to making his lunch this way, so I found myself looking for an alternative to wrapping everything in cling wrap, which I hate!

Lunch Bag

My creative solution was involved some baking paper & my sewing machine. I simply folded up the baking paper into a little pouch shape & sewed up each side using a large stitch length.

Lunch Bag Sticker

Once the snacks were safely inside I sealed the pouch with a hand-stamped sticker, which looked cute but didn't stick to the paper that well. I was pretty proud that I managed to send him off with a plastic free, fully disposable lunch.

looks great...and makes it extra special. I would love to unwrap a packed lunch that looks so good!

this is really cute! we always used wax paper for our lunches, which was nice because once you unfolded the sandwich it doubled as a placemat.

Perfect. I actually really love the aesthetic too. Love that you bothered to machine sew it and stamp a little monogram...
