Cardi...

I am trying to finish some projects this month before I start anything new & I have to say it is taking a large amount of self control, not my strong suit!

Wrap Cardi

Today Willow is wearing her finished 6.5st wrap cardigan. This project has been a combined effort with my mum (who is an amazing knitter), my minor contributions were the attachment of the fabric panel (sewing non stretch fabric to a knitted garment = scary) & the press stud & buttons.

I wasn't quite sure about the wooden buttons, but it was either them or a trip to the shops & I wanted it finished today! Seeing it on her I like the buttons, they are quite beautiful in their own right & a great contrast to the blue.

The cardigan is so thick & warm & fits her perfectly now, so I guess she will be wearing it everyday from now on...

The cardi is just lovely :-) I think you're very self controlled only finishing projects at the moment. I find the finishing far more difficult than the starting!

I'm enjoying your daily photos this month.

Snap! (My effort: http://ow.ly/kOmE)
I think Alison (6.5st) reworked the Family Circle pattern (which I used). It's a lovely cardi, and I must say, good colour choice too!

Fantastic! The colour is beautiful, matches the gorgeous eyes and I don't think you could have picked better buttons!

Hi, justa quick note to say that the cardi is lovely, she looks so cute in it! A good job done by both yourself and your Mum, so well done the pair of you!

In a knitting frenzy myself at the mo, and seeing your munchkin doing gorgeousness in her new cardi only makes me think the cooler weather needs to hang on a while longer...
