So, I thought I had better start posting rather than letting my little blog languish forever & Pip's Week Of Special Stuff, seamed to be the perfect kick start that I needed.

This photo is very special to me. Roger took at of Ryder, Willow & myself when we were staying with friends in Dubai a couple of years ago. Ryder has just turned two & Willow was about 3 months old. It had been a warm night, Willow had been unsettled, as per usual & I had been trying to keep her quiet so as not to wake up the whole house. Ryder was sleeping in bed with us & I had bought Lo in for a feed. As the sun came up, we had both (finally) fallen asleep & when Roger awoke, this is how he found us.

I love that it is a moment in time, captured forever. Me & my babes. It is the kind of photo that make me think about being a mother & the moments that make it so special, the one's that you can't put into words. I am so glad that Roger thought to take this photo, we had it framed & it now takes pride of place in our hallway so I can see it everyday.
More Special Stuff this week...

What a beautiful and special moment. Asleep with your babies. One to remember when they are all grown up and have their own babies. So precious.
:)
Beautiful photo Christie. Brought a smile to my face and tear to my eye. Thanks for sharing! xox
That is absolutely beautiful - you can SEE the love in this pic.
That is such a fabulous photograph Christie. I love sleeping with my babes, and it is so lovely for you to have such a beautiful reminder of that time. (Have to admit though that feeding position boggles the mind a bit - I can't quite do that!)
Gorgeous pic. Well done to the Mr for grabbing the camera with such excellent timing - and lighting - and then making it look like a studio shot only waaaay better than that because it so obviously captures a perfect 'moment'.
That's a "treasure forever" shot & your sincerity...beautiful.

what a beautiful photo. what a special memory as they grow so quickly moments like these are forgotten.
There's a lot of love in that photo - you're very lucky.
Lovely. This is a beautiful moment, and it's perfect to have it photographed.
jeepers, that's beautiful and full of love.
That is SO gorgeous, Miss. I got goosebumps. Just so special. You know, when max and ari and I used to sleep like this, I remember one day Max saying 'Hey. You are NOT looking after me. You have your back to me. You are only looking after Ari!'
If I had back-boobs I could have put Ari at the BACK, I guess. Bad mother with no back boobs!
But -- this photo is gorgeous and YOU are a wonderful mama!
xx
