Patchwork Scarf...

It's finished & I love it, however I couldn't even bribe Lolo to put it on to get a photo of it. In fact the only way I could get a pic was promising Ryder a chocolate biscuit & even then I had to snap fast.

The front is pieced from cotton, wool & baby corduroy & the back is wool with a little strip of piggies, because I miscalculated the length-opps! I put a thin piece of batting in the centre for some extra warmth.

There is one press stud to keep it together because I was too scared to do a button & buttonhole, but I think I will have to do a loop to slip it through like Leslie does, the press stud just isn't going to cut it.

.

Not that is is ever going to get worn, which is a pity. Sigh...

The scarf is beautiful and will be perfect for those cold Sat mornings at football and Collingwood farm. She will wear it when she needs to.

It's absolutely gorgeous!
But aren't kids pickles! My daughter is exactly the same. I have a little plan though, the next time I make her something I am going to make it secretly, then put one of those huge Cotton On swing tags on it and put it in her drawers. See if that does the trick.

I really like the fabric combination, especially the thin strips.

I'm de-lurking and joining your wonderful blog today because I love this patchwork scarf. I'm inspired to crafty up a version for 2-year old Ivy. Don't think it will be quite so pretty - but I'll let you know.

Thanks for a beautiful space.

Gorgeous! Luca has been itching for a scarf. Ellie and I wear ours all the time but if I knit him one I dare say that it might be ready when he is 16. This might be just the thing for him.

Adopt me! Sure I know I'm big for a kid but I'm house trained (definitely a plus) and I'd totally wear your patchwork scarves!
