My Creative Space...

No fabric again this week, but a combination of creatively & organisation, a combination I struggle with.

My Creative Space

In an attempt the keep our morning & evening routines on track & a bit more fun I decided to make the kids these visual lists. The idea is a twist on these fantastic packing lists & my hope is that the kids will enjoy ticking of each item with a whiteboard marker when it is done.

One they are finished I will get them laminated & test them out. I'm sure they will be a hit for about five minutes!

More Creative Spaces to be seen over at Kootoyoo.

I really need to do this with 6 year old! Am sick of being the maid. Great idea.

I think this is a wonderful idea - I'm inspired to try it with my 6-year-old. He's pretty good about doing those things, but a chart would let him know what's left to do...

Organization with three kids is something I constantly struggle with. I love the idea!

Having just driven to school with a jumperless kid, after asking seven times to PUT YOUR JUMPER ON, I will be making a point of prioritising your kind of list.

What a lovely idea! They are so gorgeous. My kids are too old for this now... no doubt I'd get some pre-teen sign language for a reply!! Lovely post! K

Great idea ~ I did the same thing with "what do we have on at school today" so we would remember things like library bags etc.

This is a brilliant idea. It is so easy for kids to forget stuff. I remember when I was a kid I was always forgetting to take my library bag to school.

Christie, I love this idea, it's really cute, and I love your drawings. Let me know how it goes, it's a winner from my end!

Fabulosity. I look forward to a time when my kids are a bit older and I can realistically expect some of these actions from them!

What a great idea for motivating your little people. Most kids can only cope with one instruction at a time, this would be useful at my house too.

what a great idea! My 5 year old is off to school next year, and judging by her constant lag when it comes to getting dressed for kinder I think these would come in handy!

I remember doing the same picture lists for our eldest when we were encouraging him to be more of a self-starter in the morning. I'm sad to say it didn't help much. He still stood around vaguely looking at his lego. I guess he's like me - just not a morning person.

Your lists look very cute. I hope they work for you.

Love the scarf by the way.

Oh great idea! My big girl would love this... she's big on lists, like me :)

I love this - really it is EXACTLY what I need. Sticker charts just weren't going to do it. Oh, a big hug and kiss to you and I am off to make one for my eldest boy.
Thank you. Nic
