You sounds like me...I've had people ask when they find out I sew if I'll sew curtains or do mending...and the answer is always the same...no :o)
Ugh I know just what you mean.... especially being the only one in the extended family who sews.

Not too many more years and the kids will be fixing their own toy repairs - I kid you not, Ella has sewn up two with her new sewing skills in the last month!
