Words and Pictures - Collecting...

I'm not sure how it started, I guess with the eating of jam.

Jars

Now they sit, lined up like little check-helmeted soldiers on the windowsill.

Lids

Who knows when I will stop adding to my little army, full of buttons & beads, but one day I will have to.

Buttons

Until then I will keep collecting.

Playing along with Pip.

Brilliant excuse for batches of scones with lashings of jam and cream on top, I would think! (Mental note: must get to the gym)...

They look gorgeous all lined up, and would be such a nice feature. You have given me inspiration ie may copy your idea to clean up my jumbled mess of buttons!! Hope you don't mind....

I buy that jam purely for the jars(although the Jam is pretty good too)! Unfortunately my local Coles has stopped selling it so will have to look for another supplier!

I store my buttons in the same fashion. We've been eating Bonne Maman jam for ages to collect the jars....and of course this week I went into a kitchen supply shop and found I could've bought 1/2 a dozen of those jars in one go! :o)
(Much more fun eating the jam)
