Weekend Wrap Up...

We jetted up to Sydney on Friday night, sans kiddos as a bit of a treat. 5 years (+ 2 days) ago I married the love of my life, & I think that is well worth celebrating.

Ryder Street : Sydney

I realised a few things while we were away.

We are super lucky to have family who love our kidlets & allow us to spend a weekend without them!

Roger & I have spoilt palates & basically the entire weekend's activities were based around food, e.g:

Dinner on friday.

Sat, breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Me

Plus instead of eating at the hotel/airport on Sunday, we held out for breakfast in Melbourne. Well worth it.

Gorgeous shot of you and what a weekend - the sort I dream of! Not sure my stomach would be up to it though! How was Tetsuyas? it's somewhere we're considering for my 40th later this year - aaaargh!

So you FEASTED!!! Did you have the duck at Billy Kwong??? I fantasise about that duck...........And you got a table at Tetsuyas! How long ago did you book that?! Very jealous and living on 'credit crunch' meals at the moment.Sigh.Glad you had a yummy time.

Yummy indeed! Did you actually see the Bridge? I also enjoyed a meal with Ms Kwong last year and it was well worth the early meal (well for me anyway) of 5.30pm to get a seat. Congratulations on the anniversary too.

You absolute stars. Well done for taking in the deep breath, working through the kid logistics, going away (and even far enough to get airborne)! I am heartily impressed - and plotting my Grandma approach...

Glad you had fun! happy 5 years!

We are the same way when we go away, it totally revolves around the meals :) We have been married for almost 17 years!
