Beach Weekend...

I know things have been rather quiet around here, things have been happening, but I have kind of enjoyed having a little blogging holiday.

This weekend we escaped to the beach, the beach that my parents took me to as a child. It is nice to think that my kids' will have happy memories of the same place.

Beach Soccer

Ryder loves to have a huge sandy playing field to himself & his new cricket set got a big work out.

Ryder

Willow happily ran up & down the sand, while Ryder was fascinated by the smallest of sea creatures, intently watching them burrow, squirm & scurry from his attentions.

Upside Down

Shells were collected, water was swallowed & the inside of our car now looks like a sandpit, but there is nothing like a dose of salt air to tucker out the kidlettes.

Hooray you are back on line.
They did enjoy the beach and all it offers as did the grandparents digging sandcastles, playing cricket, looking for shells and just hanging out at the beach.
