On My Desk...

My desk looks very neat today as I am planning my next sewing endeavours & trying to be more organised. There are a few books, including some Japanese pattern books & the latest edition of Mixtape, some navy linen fabric (for Lolo), some cool Alexander Henry fabric (for Ryder) & some beautiful Japanese linen trim from the very generous Kristine.

I also did a bit of organising of the kid's playrooms last week & made some laminated labels for their toy boxes, as well as a weekly timetable for Ryder. His little face is laminated too & I glued a magnet to the back so that it can be moved to the right day of the week. His different activities (kinder, swimming etc..) are colour coded as he can't read obviously!

Thanks Kirsty, more desks here.

Oh my goodness, you are totally on my page!! I have been wanting to do labels for my son's room for a few weeks, and was just going to do some dodgy drawn ones.. Man, these put mine to shame (and mine aren't even made yet!). Looks fantastic!

I bet Ryder loves moving his little face around the timetable. Super cute.

those laminated labels are great!! I have been wanting to do that for my kids toy tubs too... but was thinking of painting the outside with chalkboard paint, but I always think its going to rub off, so this is a great idea!!
Thanks for sharing :)
