On My Desk...

I almost forgot about 'on my desk' today, until I was reading CurlyPop's blog & she reminded me that it was in fact, Wednesday!
On my desk (well actually the kitchen table to be precise) are some books to inspire me, some hexagons (because I am obsessed & now have a new reason to make them), some cute magnets that I made as a gift, my sewing box & an cup of tea. Well, it was before I drank it!
The best things on my desk are some fun mail that was waiting for me when we got home from our trip. Firstly, my moo cards (yay!) & also some great cards courtesy of glorydaze. How cute are the little owls? I love good mail.
So far today has been a good day. Both the kids (& therefore me too) slept in until 8am (!) & then after a lazy breakfast (due to the fact that Wednesday is the one day that we don't have to be anywhere at any given time) a girlfriend & her two beautiful munchkins came over for a play date. So while the kids ran around the house in hysterics, the grown-ups sipped tea in front of the fire. Very civilised.
As we were saying good-bye, Ryder & his friend Nezi sang the Collingwood football club theme song together at the top of their lungs. Their dad's would have been so proud!
