Knit, Purl, Repeat...

After brushing up on my knitting skills (& for the 1st time actually casting on myself) on Monday night at Brown Owls I was inspired to head to Wool Baa to buy some supplies. I left with some beautiful bamboo needles, 2 balls of wool & the intention of knitting a scarf. It was really nice to sit with the kids this afternoon & knit as they played.
I also bit the bullet & started sewing a few of my hexagons together. Not bad for a first attempt.
Plus I was lucky enough to win some Liberty fabric over at Townmouse-yay! If you love beautifully made children's clothes, then look no further...

Love your hexagon and how you made the fabric match up so beautifully. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
