Justine & Nikki from MixTape organised a blogmeet today & Jenny, the owner of Amitie was kind enough to let us take over her shop for a few hours. We had lots of fun chatting, exchanging gifts, eating the yummy food that everyone brought & doing a spot of stitching. Kirsty, Cam, Sharon & Corrie (who have met through brown Owls) were there, but I also got to meet Fi, Kitty & Carly. As an extra bonus the lovely Louise was working, so I finally got to put a face to the name.I was lucky enough to get a gift bag from Corrie full of lots of beautiful Japanese fabric (which she sells in her retro mummy shop) as well as a cool vintage Bevknits pattern & some other Japanese goodies. I can't wait to have a play with all the fabric. The tote itself is so cute & I plan on taking it on maiden journey tomorrow. On top of that, (because she is on the move again) she also gave me a pile of vintage patterns, very Brady Bunch god love 'em! Thanks Corrie.
Many thanks to Justine & Nikki for all their hard work in organising such a fantastic afternoon.
