Finally Finished...

Somewhere along the way I lost my sewing mojo. I am not quite sure how it happened, I had a long list of projects that I wanted to get done & then suddenly I wasn't really in the mood. So finally the sewing bug bit me today & I realised that it is really nice to get something started & finished in one go. Simple sewing is good. Both my attention span & available time are very limited so projects that take a lot of work usually end up lost in the abyss that is my sewing room. This little number is from a Japanese sewing book. The original pattern is for a top, but I lengthened the pattern to make it a dress. It is possible that I didn't lengthen it enough though so maybe it is a long top... or a short dress.... hmmm. All wrapped & ready to go, it is a very late birthday pressie for a special little girl.

Buoyed by one finished project I decided to finish off a pair of bloomers for Lo (from the same pattern book) that I had cut out many months ago. I love spots so much. They look very cute on Lo's little rump although they are much roomier than I had expected them to be. I guess now that I am on a roll I should get back to it...

great top/dress, and great taste again! - I have some of the same ;) I can see 3/4 length white or pink leggins with it, then it doesn't matter if it's a top or a dress OR in-between...
