Phew...

What a weekend. A joint 1st & 3rd birthday party, followed up by another 1st birthday/naming day (in the country) then a birthday dinner for friends-and that was just Saturday. Sunday was a long lunch, made possible by my amazing parents who looked after the childerbeasts for 24 hours! That's right folks, we were child-free for 24 hours... If anyone out there has read Little Pea then hopefully this little guy will look vaguely familiar...

He was a last minute addition to a birthday gift for a special little man. I am so disorganised with gift-giving this year, my plans of loving handmade gifts for all have not quite come to pass. Last year I had all our Christmas shopping finished in November, & this year I am sewing faces on peas during car trips to the country... insanity!

That sounds like fun a very fun weekend!! Where did you go for lunch? I love the thought of a long lunch with Thayer. It's only been about hmmm 4 years since we've had one.
