Shoot The Chef...

I am sure that everyone who has ever worked in a restaurant has wanted to 'shoot the chef' at some point in time. I know I felt that way in my past life, but that is a story for another day.

For a few years now the Sydney Morning Herald has been running a photography competition called 'Shoot the Chef'. Last week they announced the top 10 & last night they announced the winner (below). Here are some of my favourites...

Gastronomy head chef Cyril Miletto & followers, by Penelope Beveridge.

'Great Catch' Stokehouse chef Anthony Musarra, by Raegan Glazner
'Two Mushrooms in Love' by Peter Bainbridge, sponsored by Tony Bilson
Fins chef Steven Snow, by Brett Boardman

The Stokehouse chef, Anthony Musarra had that photo taken in Port Phillip Bay in the middle of Winter, brrrrr! The lengths people will go to for the sake of art.
