Winter Solstice Bonfire...

We have had very busy day today, especially considering that we are all a bit under the weather. As per usual Roger was up early & off the the market with Ryder followed by Ryder's weekly swimming lesson. Then after a quick kip (for Ryder & Willow) we were of to Pia's 5th birthday party. From there we headed home briefly & then off to the Winter Solstice Bonfire at Collingwood Children's Farm.
The crowds at the farm were huge, as was the actual bonfire & unfortunately the ques for the food stalls. I had to line up for 40 minutes to get some Dutch pancakes, which were yum, but I'm not sure that they were 40 minutes worth of yum...

Willow was fascinated by the fire, while Ryder was his ubercool, unimpressed self. It took a while for the bonfire to get cracking & you could hear the kids in the crowd start to collectively loose it. Fair enough, it was bedtime. We left fairly early before the natives got too restless.
