Now I know this is a bit slow off the bat, however he has said it before, but only under duress (i.e. when Roger is attempting to give him medicine) & recently he has taken to balling me 'baba' which I'm sure means Mama in some language, I'm just not sure which one.
But now he is saying 'Mum' & he says it quite frequently. His other favourite word is 'no' & we hear that a lot, hmmm.
Today was swimming for Ryder, which he loves. He is happy going underwater & can hold his breath which is a bonus! He is also getting the hang of paddling, kicking & flirting with the teacher. The only thing he dislikes is lying on his back in the water.Poor Willow had a visit to the Pediatrician today only to discover that my poor little girl has reflux!
Willow has not been the happiest of bubs & a bit of a puker so it certainly make sense, but I do feel a little bit guilty that we are finding this out now & not a few months ago. The worst part is that the doctor recommended starting her on solids as she is more likely to keep them down. Darn it. I was just talking to a friend yesterday & saying that I was going to hold off on solids a long as possible with Willow because breast feeding is so much easier than cooking up gourmet organic pureed delights everyday & looking after a toddler. My plan has been foiled. And I thought having a vomity baby was messy...
