Cold day In Paris...

Today is our 1st full day in Paris. In the morning, Roger went to the beautiful Paul baker across the road & bought home all things cooked in butter for breakfast- Mmmmm! Viva la France!
Since it was raining, we decided to check out Galeries La Fayette so we bundled up the troupes & jumped on le Metro! This department is to die for, much better than anything we have at home, but with Ryder squirming in the pram & Willow attached to Roger we decided that we will need to get a babysitter & return san enfonts to do some shopping! On the way home we were going to take Ryder on his 1st Carrousel ride (there is a Carrousel conveniently located near our apartment) however there was some kind of protest going on & Police everywhere, so the Carrousel was closed - kel damage!
True to our promise of a horsey ride, after Ryder's nap, Roger took him for a walk to the Jardin de Tuileries, (which he discovered is quite a walk away) & Ryder had his 1st Carrosel ride. How cute does he look all rugged up in his trench coat! But now I must be off & eat some more Pain au Chocolat!

Ryder looks great in his trench coat. I assume it is new. Thank heavens you are back on line I was missing my daily dose of Fowlers. I love you all.
Enjoy Paris and all it offers.

Hey Fowler Clan,

That is the cutest photo of Ryder- I am so jealous, I don't think I can read these french tales every day...
I am sitting here in the middle of a brilliant and exciting renovation...with a Orange Feature wall (muzza) wishing I was in Paris,

Hope the kiddies are behaving-
relax and enjoy, all is fine here x

Hi Fowler Family,

Ryder looks like he stepped into a postcard... wonderful to hear you arrived safe and are enjoying the wonderous foods of Paris, wish I was there! Must have you over for a meal when you are back and you can talk Paris to us!

Love & kisses, Vida

Don't forget to try out Printemps, also a beautiful department store not far from Galleries La Fayette, though the decor is not QUITE the same but still has glorious things to purchase, just remember the luggage weight, I was 40 kilos over so keep my mistake in mind.

Third time lucky, just a couple more bits, Roger try the Bastile Market, I saw vanilla beans as fat as a man's finger from Tahiti, and Christie they had baby clothes out of season (will suit our season) for ridiculous prices. P.S. Alana says "I wish Roger was her, I have a test on Tuesday for hospitality and could use his help", so you are all sorely missed. Last night was the hottest night ever, today is 36 and we are cooking, so hot.
